Job Title: Material Handler (2) positions- Dye & Durham (1 year contract)
Location: 40 West Beaver Creek, Richmond Hill, Ontario
Wage Rate: $13.32 per hour
Work Schedule: 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm
- Picks and packs customer orders
- Double checks orders to verify accuracy
- Stack packages on pallets, wrap and stage pallets for shipping.
- Stacks empty pallets in piles of not more than (8) eight.
- Work to improve quality standards
- Load trailers
- Put away stock in bin locations
- General warehouse duties including clean up and good housekeeping
- Other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications: (M) = Mandatory or (P) = Preferred
- Completion of Secondary School Education (P)
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment (P)
- Physically fit, have the ability to lift 60 lbs on a repetitive basis (M)
- Able to read, write and speak the English language (M)
- Comfortable working in a fast paced and challenging environment (M)
- Able to work well independently and in a team setting in a high volume environment (M)
- Self motivated, results oriented with excellent work ethics, and the willingness to learn new skills (M)
- Knowledge of Health and Safety standards in a warehouse environment (P)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (P)
- Previous experience in the field of office supplies (P)
- Reliable and willing to work beyond scheduled shifts when required (P)
